ClockTools provides free, browser-based time management tools including, but not limited to:

  • Online alarm clock with multiple alarm support
  • Countdown timer with presets and interval mode
  • Stopwatch with lap tracking and data export
  • World time zone display and converter
  • Pomodoro timer for productivity
  • Date and age calculators
  • Epoch/Unix timestamp converter
  • Educational content about time management

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Lawful Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service

You acknowledge that the accuracy of time-related information depends on your device's clock settings and internet connectivity. ClockTools is not responsible for discrepancies caused by incorrect device settings, network delays, or other factors outside our control.

3.3 Browser Requirements

Certain features of the Service (particularly alarms and timers) require:

  • Keeping the browser tab open and active
  • Enabling audio permissions
  • Preventing your device from entering sleep mode

You are responsible for configuring your device appropriately for the features you wish to use.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Content

All content on ClockTools, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, and code, is the property of ClockTools or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include:

  • Modifying or copying materials from the Service (except for personal use)
  • Using materials for commercial purposes
  • Removing any copyright or proprietary notations
  • Transferring materials to another person or mirroring them on any server

4.3 Embedding

We permit embedding of our timer widgets on your website using the provided embed codes. Embedded widgets must:

  • Not be modified or altered
  • Not be used on sites containing illegal, adult, or objectionable content
  • Include attribution to ClockTools where technically feasible

We reserve the right to revoke embedding privileges at any time.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will meet your requirements or expectations
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any defects in the Service will be corrected

You understand and agree that your use of the Service is at your own risk. Browser-based alarms and timers have inherent limitations and should not be relied upon for critical applications where failure could result in injury, damage, or significant loss.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLOCKTOOLS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Damages resulting from any third-party content or conduct on the Service

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if ClockTools has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Important: ClockTools is not a substitute for professional timing equipment, medical alarms, safety systems, or any other critical timing applications. For situations where timing accuracy is essential for safety or health, use appropriate professional-grade equipment.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ClockTools and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content you submit or share through the Service

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

We use third-party advertising services (Google AdSense) to display ads on ClockTools. These services may use cookies and tracking technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
